STAGE
(Sturgis Theatre Arts Guild of Entertainers)
The mission of STAGE is to enrich the Sturgis community by:
- involving a diverse array of students, ranging from a variety of backgrounds and experiences
- developing an atmosphere of inspiration, reflection, risk-taking, and discovery within an ever-changing ensemble
- providing thought-provoking, innovative, and quality entertainment for our audiences and the community
fostering camaraderie and support (as opposed to rivalry) among the two campuses - giving students an experience in creating theatre and challenging our concept of “what is theatre?”
- offering students an outlet for creativity and collaboration outside of the academic school day
